A fire crew found a cannabis factory when they went to a Brighton flat to deal with a flood.
The crew from East Sussex Fire and Rescue turned up at the flooded flat in New England Road, Brighton, just after 2am today.
They found heavy duty electric cables and fertiliser so called Sussex Police who gained entry to the flat.
Inside they found about 300 cannabis plants.
Electricity supplies to the flat were made safe and scenes of crime officers have been examining the location.
