Adam Fitchett, 19, of no fixed abode has been charged today after an attempted robbery of a man in East Street, Brighton.
Sussex Police said that the attempted robbery took place yesterday (Thursday 18 November).
Fitchett appeared at Lewes Crown Court today and has been charged with attempted robbery and having an imitation firearm.
Fitchett has been remanded in custody and will appear in the same court on Friday 28 January 2011.
