Brighton Kemptown MP Simon Kirby wants his commuting constituents to tell him their train troubles.
Mr Kirby, a Conservative, is due to meet the senior management of Southern Railway at a parliamentary reception on Wednesday week (17 November).
And he is willing to bring up the issues bothering passengers who live in the Kemptown constituency.
The reception, at Portcullis House in Westminster, across the road from the Houses of Parliament, is due to be attended by Southern’s managing director Chris Burchell and his senior team.
Mr Kirby said: “I have met train representatives since being elected in May this year but this is an opportunity for me to raise with the managing director the questions my constituents would like answering.
“If any constituent would like me to raise a question on their behalf, then please email me at simon.kirby.mp@parliament.uk giving their name and full postal address and a brief question.
“I will do my very best to get answers and put forward practical suggestions.”
The event has been set up to give politicians the chance to discuss timetable changes and other issues of local concern.
