A man went on the attack with a samurai sword – in a street called Warrior Close.
He had a fight with another man in the Portslade street late on Tuesday evening.
The fight ended with three arrests and, incredibly, no serious injuries.
Sussex Police said: “A 22-year-old man had received a small cut to his hand and grazes to his leg but did not require hospital treatment.
“As a result of police inquiries two cars were searched soon afterwards, one in Warrior Close and one on the nearby Hangleton Link road.
“The first one, a blue Audi saloon, was stationary and unattended at the time, and contained approximately £2,000 worth of herbal cannabis.
“The second vehicle, a Ford Focus, was stopped by police nearby and the 24-year-old driver, from the Lewes area, was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.
“Two further arrests were made later during the evening of two Portslade men in their twenties on suspicion of assault and possession of drugs with intent to supply.
“This incident was swiftly dealt with and no residents in the street were involved or endangered.”
