A 73-year-old man with Alzheimer’s disease has gone missing from his home in Hove.
Arthur Jones was last seen by his wife at their home in Mountbatten Court, Ingram Crescent, Hove, at 3.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 27 October).
When Mrs Jones returned home at 5pm, Arthur was gone.
Sergeant Mehdi Fallahi, of Sussex Police, said: “We have deployed extra patrols to search for Mr Jones in Hove and the surrounding areas.
“We are very concerned that there have been no sightings of him since yesterday afternoon.”
Arthur is described as 5ft 10in tall, of thick-set build and with short grey spiky hair.
He was wearing a three-quarter length blue raincoat, black cords, grey jumper with a striped shirt underneath and black and white trainers.
He is physically able but because he suffers from Alzheimer’s disease he is vulnerable.
