A Brighton charity will be hosting a free seminar entitled “Seven things charities should know about the web” next month.
The seminar at Community Base in Queen’s Road, Brighton, will be run by Iain Scott, managing director of London-based web design and digital marketing agency Base Creative.
Iain has run seminars for Business Link and the Islington Chamber of Commerce and regularly lectures at City University.
He said: “In this session, we explore the range of modern-day online marketing techniques and how they are shaping the way people interact with your website.
“From search engine optimisation, blogging, twitter, pay per click and email marketing, we get you up to speed on what works and what’s yesterday’s news.”
The seminar will take place on Tuesday 16 November.
There will be a light buffet lunch from 2pm, with the seminar starting at 2.30pm and finishing by 5pm.
The seminar, which includes a handout covering its content, is free to anyone working or volunteering with a charity or not-for-profit community group in Brighton and Hove.
Places are limited and must be booked in advance by emailing your name, organisation and phone number to director@communitybase.org.
