The man suspected of holding up a Hove bookmaker’s has been released on police bail.
Sussex Police said that the 41-year-old man from Brighton had been bailed until Monday 6 December pending further inquiries.
He was arrested after a robbery at Ladbrokes in Portland Road, Hove, at 3pm on Wednesday 6 October.
Police said that a man entered the shop and threatened a member of staff with a knife who handed over cash.
The suspect was arrested shortly afterwards.
Detectives are not currently linking this incident with other recent robberies in the area.
