A man is under arrest after a police community support officer (PCSO) was struck by a car in the centre of Brighton this morning.
Sussex Police said that it had received a call to deal with a green Jaguar car which was blocking the pavement in Duke’s Lane, Brighton.
A PCSO attended the scene just after 7.30am and faced an “altercation with a member of the public.”
The person concerned climbed into another car and reversed into the PCSO who suffered minor injuries.
A man was arrested later in suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH) to the officer.
