Police in Brighton have seized cocaine with an estimated value of £800,000.
Officers swooped in the Regency Square area, arresting two people, including a 29-year-old man from Hove.
Sussex Police hailed the seizure as a success for its automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) team who spotted the men acting suspiciously on Friday afternoon.
The force said that it would have “a significant impact on drug-related crime in Sussex”.
The pair – Lloyd Power, from Queen Victoria Avenue, Hove, and Gary Knock, 35, from Pevensey Road, Eastbourne – were due in Brighton Magistrates’ Court this morning.
They have been charged with conspiring to supply Class A drugs.
A 47-year-old woman from Eastbourne was also arrested on suspicion of having Class A drugs with intent to supply.
She has been bailed by police until Monday 8 November for further inquiries.
