A 15-year-old-boy has been missing from a Hove care home for a fortnight.
Sussex Police said that officers were concerned that Drew Knight was increasingly vulnerable.
Drew left the care home on Wednesday 1 September and was last seen in Croydon.
He was described as white with a pale complexion, 5ft 6in tall and slightly built.
He was last seen wearing grey jogging bottoms, a white t-shirt and black leather jacket. He sometimes wears glasses.
Detective Inspector Lee Horner said: “There is no evidence that any harm has befallen Drew at this time.
“However, when he left Hove he had no money and no mobile, and as each day passes we naturally worry that he may become vulnerable to some form of harm or criminality.”
The teenager is in the care of the London Borough of Lewisham and had been at the home in Hove for several weeks when he went missing.
He comes from London and has friends and relatives in Croydon, Catford and Lewisham.
He has been spotted in Croydon in recent days and police believe that he may still be in the area.
Mr Horner said that Sussex Police had made inquiries with the Metropolitan Police.
He said if anyone saw Drew or knew where he was, they should call 0845 6070999.
