A father and two sons from Fishersgate have been charged in relation to the murder of Stefan Welch.
Sean Cirus Iran, 21, of St Richard’s Road, Portslade, has been charged with murder just over a week after golfers found the badly burnt body of Mr Welch.
Iran and his father, Babak Iran, 44, and his brother, Navid Iran, 23, all of the same address, have been charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
All three will appear in custody at Brighton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Monday 13 September).
The charges were brought last night (Saturday 11 September) after an investigation by Sussex Police Major Crime Branch and in consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service.
The body of Mr Welch, 37, from Oriental Place, Brighton, was found at The Dyke Golf Club by the Devil’s Dyke, just outside Brighton and Hove, on Saturday 4 September.
