Brighton Pride is asking its supporters to suggest a date for next year’s event.
Pride’s organisers want to avoid clashing with Brighton and Hove Albion’s first fixture at the club’s new stadium in Falmer.
Four Saturdays have been put forward – 13, 20 or 27 August or 3 September.
Pride in Brighton and Hove has also asked for ideas to improve next year’s event as it begins “a fundamental review of what it does and how”.
It has asked Brighton and Hove City Council to conduct an independent review and a decision is likely to be made by the council’s Overview and Scrutiny Committee which meets today.
The council agreed a £20,000 loan to Pride before this year’s event.
Pride said that it was asking everyone who was involved, from creating an event, float or tent through to attending the parade and the Preston Park event to send in their feedback.
The feedback will be used to create an agenda for a review meeting to be held towards the end of this month.
Everyone who submits feedback will be invited to the meeting.
A spokesman said: “Tell us what you think, what you like, what to keep, what you didn’t like and what could be changed.”
The question of Pride’s troubled finances will form a key part of the review.
Charges for traders and concessions in the park and bucket collections for donations have failed to cover the event’s costs.
The way that contracts are awarded will form part of the scrutiny provided by the council if it decides to carry out a review.
Pride asked for suggestions to be emailed to office@brightonpride.org by Friday 17 September.
