Brighton beach forms the backdrop to one of the YouTube hits of the moment.
It features a sequence of people miming a cover version of Baby by 16-year-old Canadian singer Justin Bieber.
The location is next to The Meeting Place café by the Peace Statue and the border of Brighton and Hove.
The video features on Cover Me, a blog compiled by New York-based music writer Ray Padgett.
If you only check it out one time, you can see it under the title Random Beach Brits Lip-Sync Bieber Cover.
The introductory blurb says: “Baby just won´t die.
“Justin Bieber’s obnoxious mega-hit has infiltrated pop culture to a horrifying degree.
“It’s the most-viewed video on YouTube.
“Maria McAteer and Björn Dahlberg´s piano cover is smooth and jazzy.
“The real find is the video though.
“Filmed in on the beaches of Brighton, a series of Brits lip-sync the godawful lyrics.”
It´s hard to see how anyone can knock a song that rhymes start-struck with Starbucks so here´s a chance to click on the link above and check it out for yourself.
