Two people, including a boy aged 14, were seriously injured when a motorbike and car collided on the seafront in Brighton last night.
The 14-year old was riding as pillion passenger on a motorcycle.
He suffered serious knee and wrist injuries when the bike and a Ford Focus saloon car collided.
The accident happened was on the seafront A259 Grand Junction Road by the junction with Preston Street at 8.10pm.
The pillion passenger, from Burgess Hill, and the rider of the motorcycle, a 43-year old man from Peacehaven, who received a serious shoulder injury, were detained at Royal Sussex County Hospital.
The driver of the car, a 32-year old Seaford man, and his three passengers, were unhurt.
