A man has appeared in court charged with trying to attack a man in a caravan with a knife.
Peter Fittock, 47, of Springfield Road, Brighton, appeared before Brighton magistrates on Saturday accused of attempting to commit grievous bodily harm.
Fittock was said to have tried to hurt a 39-year-old man in Preston Park, Brighton, just after midnight on Thursday 5 August.
Sussex Police said that the victim was not injured in the attack.
Fittock was remanded in custody until October.
