A man has been charged after three arson attacks in Whitehawk on Thursday, according to Sussex Police.
Jason Malcolm Aldridge, 23, of Findon Road, Whitehawk, has been charged with three counts of arson and one of using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
The fires all occurred at about 4pm in the Whitehawk Way area of Brighton.
Two were in bins at Hurstwood and Westham and one in a bin at the rear of the local youth centre.
The fires were all minor and no lives were endangered.
