Police are continuing their search of two addresses in Brighton and Hove this weekend.
The search is part of an investigation into convicted murderer Peter Tobin, 63, who is serving three life sentences for killing Angelika Kluk, Vicky Hamilton and Dinah McNicol.
Tobin lived at the addresses, 152-154 Marine Parade, Brighton, and 67 Station Road, Portslade, in the late 1980s.
Detectives are trying to establish whether Tobin is linked to any other offences.
This morning, Saturday 17 July, Sussex Police delivered letters to residents in the immediate vicinity of the Station Road address.
They letters told them that tomorrow (Sunday 18 July) work would start in the basement of 67 Station Road, involving digging and drilling as part of the search.
The work is due to start at 9am and is being carried out on Sunday to limit the disruption to the shops and customers of 67 Station Road.
Police said that search teams would make every effort to keep the disruption and noise to a minimum.
A drop-in facility will be available for local people at the United Reform Church in Station Road, Portslade, at 6pm on Sunday where a community liaison officer will deal with any concerns.
A police presence will remain at both locations throughout the investigation.
