A series of animated cartoons have been produced to warn Brighton and Hove schoolchildren about the dangers of drugs and alcohol.
The short films, called Bamboozled, will be screened on the city’s Ru-ok substance misuse website for teenagers as well as on digital channel Teachers TV.
The clips, featuring animated panda bears, are intended to be humourous while giving serious advice.
Part of the idea is to introduce school-children to the other information and services available on the Ru-ok website.
The videos, made by Brighton production firm Kanoti, were commissioned by Brighton and Hove City Council, along with CRI substance misuse services, Unisex and Brighton and Hove City NHS.
City councillor Dee Simson, cabinet member for community safety, said: “It’s vital that school children, parents and other professionals working with young people have a good knowledge of the issues around substance misuse.”
It’s a real life Sexual Harassment Panda!
