Brighton police’s version of CSI will share some of their techniques at an emergency services fun day.
The force’s scenes of crime officers (SOCO) will be among dozens of police, firefighters, coastguards and ambulance crew taking part in the free 999 event in East Brighton Park, in Wilson Avenue, Whitehawk, on Sunday, July 25, from 11am to 3pm.
Visitors will be able to learn about the work of different departments, including SOCO and the roads policing unit, and watch displays by the fire service and police dogs.
Sussex Army Cadet Force will also be taking part.
Chief Inspector Laurence Taylor, Brighton and Hove’s head of neighbourhood policing, said: “The hardworking men and women of the emergency services are there for everyone 24 hours a day 365 days a year, it would be wonderful if people could come along and support them on this special day.”
