A Portslade school has been praised by inspectors who gave it a “satisfactory” rating.
The Ofsted report for St Nicholas CE Junior, in Locks Hill, was published by the inspectorate yesterday.
Lead inspector Rob Crompton gave the 246-pupil school for seven to 11-year-olds a grade three rating, considered satisfactory, and said it had “good” capacity for future improvement.
Mr Crampton wrote: “The school provides a satisfactory and improving quality of education in a warm, purposeful and supportive environment. Pupils behave well and enjoy school.”
The school scored good ratings in many of the inspector’s sub-categories.
Every one of the 69 parents who replied to an Ofsted survey said they were happy overall with their children’s experience at the school.
