The Brighton lifeboat crew rescued a boat from the English Channel early this morning.
The RNLI Brighton crew were called out to a broken down vessel south of Brighton Marina at 6.44am.
The lone skipper was safe and well but unable to restart the engine of his boat.
Forty minutes after the shout the boat had been towed back to the marina.
The conditions were calm, with a smooth sea and a force 1 to force 2 north easterly wind.
