Four young people from Hollingdean are keeping their fingers crossed that their bid for money to build a new skate park will be successful.
Luke, James, Max and Giuseppe put together their own application to the Youth Capital Fund for £20,000 to rebuild Hollingdean skate park.
They were then invited before a panel to answer questions. Hollingdean News Online say: “They only had 15 minutes but they did really well and got over all the main points about the project.”
Liz Lee, Hollingdean’s community development worker, has also helped put together bids to the Community Spaces for £49,000 and Veolia for £25,000. Read more about the project to get a new skate park here.
