The newly opened Dyke Road Park playground has temporarily closed because of teething problems with its turf.
The playground was one of 13 to reopen on the Easter weekend after a revamp.
Since then, some of the grass has been damaged, and more needs to be laid. A council spokeswoman said: “We are intending to keep it closed for about a week after the turf has been laid to give it a chance to bed in before people walk on it.”
