Two Brighton teenagers have been charged with the robbery of a convenience store during which a shopkeeper was stabbed.
The boys, aged 13 and 15, are suspected of carrying out the robbery at Preston Foods in Preston Drove, Brighton, at about 8.45am on Wednesday 3 March.
The 13-year-old boy has also been charged with battery and the 15-year-old charged with an attack causing grievous bodily harm (GBH), according to Sussex Police.
Sayed Mohaiz Shah, 30, the shopkeeper, was stabbed in the arm as he gave chase after cigarettes were stolen from his store.
He suffered only slight injuries.
The boys were bailed to appear before Brighton Youth Court on Tuesday 11 May.
