A prominent gay bar is planning to expand its capacity and its opening hours.
The Bulldog, in St James’s Street, Brighton, has applied for licensing permission to revamp its first floor so a disused toilet area can be transformed into an extended bar.
It also wants to extend its closing time on Mondays from 2am to 11am.
A Brighton and Hove City Council licensing panel will consider the proposal at a meeting at Hove Town Hall in Norton Road on Tuesday, May 4, at 10am.
