Brighton’s legendary all-night Market Diner is to reopen on Friday – just in time for summer.
The News reported last month the popular cafe – the home of Brighton’s notorious Gut Buster breakfast – had closed for maintenance, but at the time there was no word as to when it would be back in business.
Now it is reopening – and has been bought back by its original owners.
The café was sold to Jane Parnell – a former customer – and her husband Tony, from Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, in the autumn of 2008 by Alex Ross.
Mr Ross had run the Market Diner since 1975, working alongside his sons Neal and Alec.
