Forget counting or saying sausages – this Brighton pooch has been trained to say her owner’s name.
Rah Bray, of Denton Drive, Patcham, has filmed this video of Lola Bones barking her nickname, Rah Rah.
Rah’s partner Andy Keetch explains: “We are not very good at dog training, we had started out trying to teach Lola to sit, stay and fetch but to no avail.
“Lola has always been quite vocal, so we thought we would start teaching her to speak so that she could ask more politely for food, and we discovered she has quite the gift! The next step is to teach her cheese, pasta and noodles but NEVER sausages.”
When she is not showing off her talking talents, two and half year old Chihuahua Terrier cross Lola is causing all sorts of mischief, from herding sheep at Cuckmere Haven to winning awards for looking like her mum.
Never the stranger to publicity, she also stars in this Flickr photo album, and has her own Twitter profile.
