A murder inquiry has been launched after a man was stabbed to death at Brighton flats this morning.
The man, thought to be in his 40s, was found by police unconscious in the communal hallway of a residential property in Elm Grove shortly after 10am today. Despite the efforts of of paramedics, he died shortly afterwards.
Police have made two arrests. One man was arrested at the scene and a second man was arrested shortly afterwards in Worthing, both on suspicion of murder. They are currently in police custody and will be interviewed in due course.
Detectives from Sussex Police’s Major Crime Branch, led by DCI Trevor Bowles, are carrying out extensive enquiries to establish what happened and the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
