Police are appealing for witnesses after three men forced their way into a property at Johnson Bank flats, Wellington Road, Brighton, last night (3 February) at around 10.30pm.
The men assaulted the occupiers, two men, aged 22 and 40, and made threats to kill them. One of the suspects is believed to have been carrying a knife.
One of the victims suffered minor head and facial injuries.
The suspects made off with a games console, three laptops, a computer and cash, which they were carrying in white bin bags.
The suspects are described as black, stocky build, wearing black hoodies, gloves and had bandanas over their faces. They all had London accents.
