A Portslade car garage says it may go bust after thieves took up to £30,000 of equipment in a double break-in.
Performance Autos in Nicholson Wharf was first raided on January 2, and then overnight on January 3.
Among the items stolen were a black and red coloured Snap On scanner with rubber grips to the side, a K20 cable and 30 circuit chips, a set of Mac spanners and a set of Blue Point rachet spanners, socket sets, screwdrivers, a Pioneer car stereo, Kickers car speakers, a pair of Sony amplifiers and a pair of Phoenix Gold BBGs amplifiers.
Police are issuing a warning to other business owners in the area to remain vigilant and ensure their premises are secured.
Police are also interested in hearing from witnesses or anyone who may have been approached with goods being offered for sale.
