A yacht got into difficulties last night after its propeller became entangled on the nets of a commercial fishing vessel.
The RNLI Brighton lifeboat was launched at 7.12pm to go and help the 34ft yacht, which was stuck about one mile south west of the Palace Pier.
It then helped tow the boat, which was manned by a single person, to a visitors’ pontoon at Brighton Marina.
The whole operation took just over one hour.
