Hove’s Floral Clock Christmas tree lights switched on

The lights on Hove’s Floral Clock Christmas Tree have been switched on by the Mayor of Brighton and Hove, Councillor Ann Norman.

Children from St Peter’s Community Infant and Nursery School in Portslade sang carols round the tree in Palmeira Square, Hove.

The 20ft tree has been provided by Brighton and Hove City Council.

Cllr Norman said: “People of all ages enjoy seeing the Floral Clock tree in all its festive finery and the switch-on marks the start of the countdown to Christmas.”
