Police say they are “very worried” about this young boy spotted wandering the streets of Brighton alone.
The boy, thought to be about 12, was seen by a passer by on the seafront in Kings Road just before 11pm on Sunday, November 8.
He was alone, and carrying a roller-suitcase, a school-type rucksack, and a carrier bag with West Ham United logos and colours.
The passer by alerted police, but after a search of the area they could not find him. They have now released this image of him caught by the cameras at Burger King.
He had been seen there shortly before, and on the previous night.
Police said he apparently spoke of coming from a care home, but enquiries throughout Brighton and Hove have found no record of this.
Detective Inspector Lee Horner said:”This boy could come from anywhere in the country, even though he may still be in the city.
There is no information about his having any address or connections in the area, and although there is no evidence to suggest he has so far come to any harm, we are naturally concerned that someone so young should be wandering alone in this city or anywhere else.”
The boy is described as having long dark hair, and wearing jeans, with white trainers with velcro straps.
Anyone who has seen this boy, or who thinks they may know him, is asked to contact Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999, quoting Serial 1586.
