The newly re-opened Brighton Bandstand has already hosted some oh-so Brighton happenings – from late-night salsa dancing to a pets blessing ceremony.
Now, in a hit YouTube hip-hop spoof, it once again takes the best supporting role award.
Mr B the Gentleman Rhymer has used the “birdcage” and other Brighton locations for the first in what he promises will be a series of “histories”.
Directed by Dave Alexander, he kicks off with the story of hip-hop, nattily narrated in verse accompanying himself on his “banjolee”. And what else to wear for such a rendition than a striped blazer?
