A Hove road was closed as firefighters tackled a blaze which broke out in a Caribbean food van yesterday afternoon.
Bready Delights van, which is regularly parked in Selborne Road, Hove, caught fire at about 3.20pm.
The video above was shot by Kitebox video production, whose offices overlook the van’s spot.
Hove police closed the road while a crew from Preston Circus put out the flames.
In a message posted on Facebook last night, Bready Delights said: “Apologies to our customers, we are having some problems at the moment so won’t be open for a few days. We’ll let you know as soon as we are up and running again.”
A spokeswoman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue said: “One appliance from Preston Circus was mobilised at 3.23pm and the accidental fire was tackled by a firefighter wearing breathing apparatus and using one hose reel.
“The fire involved a food van and they left the scene at 3.35pm.”

There seem to be more such wagons around this year.
