One of Brighton’s new Coaster buses will be parked in New Road on Saturday morning giving out free ice cream and cupcakes to bus enthusiasts.
The blue and green buses, which are running along the coast on the number 12 route, have all been named after notable locals following a public vote.
They come with a host of new features including low emission ‘Euro 6’ engines, free Wi-Fi and USB charge points, softer seating, ‘talking buses’ with next stop information and real time tracking of bus locations.
Their aircraft blue and lime green livery has been chosen to promote not only their green credentials but also the links between the coast and countryside
